Animazement has finally come and gone, and now I cannot wait for next year!

The trip up to NC took less time than last year, it seemed, probably because we made less stops on the way. We stopped at the NC border rest stop like we did last year and finished putting on our costumes while we were there. ~RS-Xavior went as Shinsengumi Saito, ~TouchSeeker went as Okita, ~chibimizuthing went as OrgXIII!Riku, and I went as L! 8D We took a couple pictures while we were there, then proceeded to head on out to the convention. It took us a minute to find decent parking that wasn't totally out of the way of the convention center/hotel - NC's roads are about as bad as Florida's! ._.

After registering at the con, we started exploring and admiring all the costumes. We got our pictures taken a few times, and I ended up being Riku's 'seeing-eye L' part of the way because of the blindfold. XD We eventually found the long-ass line to the Dealers Room, which got an entire floor all to itself. o.o It was huge! And with so many nice things... I, of course, wound up spending all my life's savings. XD I bought the Crisis Core action figures I wanted, Death Note plushies, a couple of T-shirts, buttons... That was just on Friday. X_X

We were eventually allowed to move up to the hotel room, which was conveniently connected to the con center. I actually spent more time in the hotel room than usual, which was pleasant because it was nice and, to be honest, there really wasn't a whole lot going on that I was too terribly interested in. XD I spent most of my con time in the Dealers Room, Artists' Alley, or following everyone else to what they wanted to attend. Also, stupid me had bought shoes to wear with absolutely NO padding in them, so my feet ended up killing me the entire time I was there. @_@ Damn me for being cheap!

Saturday ran pretty much the same. :3 I cosplayed L again, so if anyone noticed one of the millions of 'L's carrying around a lollipop and Death Note most of the time, that was me. XD

Many lulz were had in the hotel room, too, including a very interesting photo shoot and some particular *ahem* noises that we were bent on making. "OH, LIGHT! " XDDDD

Sunday we went to the Organization XIII recruitment panel where I dressed up as Demyx. The enthusiasm had died down by then, so I was rather a little out of it for the panel, plus we were in a hurry to get packed and checked out of the hotel. I ended up throwing on a casual outfit for Demyx later, and made one last trip around the Dealers Room before we finally started heading home. 83 On the way back, I read Death Note: Another Note to ~People-are-Strange and was hell-bent on making her and Mizu watch Death Note. >8D Bahahaha!

Which we did when we got back to my house. ^__^

So I am exhausted, but quite happy. 8D Now all there is is AWA for this year. Next year I'm shooting to cosplay Crisis Core Cloud for Animazement, and hopefully NashiCon as well. I do plan on doing L again, he was a lot of fun and very simple to do. |D Yes, I can be quite lazy sometimes, in case that wasn't obvious considering it has been a very long time since I've posted anything remotely new on here. T_T

I think I'll go take a nap now. |3
